Position Summary
The General Clerk III selects from alternative methods and refers problems not solvable by adapting or interpreting substantive guides, manuals, or procedures. Inputs data from work product into computer system. Quality checks data entered system and manual processes.
Essential Functions of the Position
- Assists is a variety of administrative matters.
- Maintains a wide variety of records stored both manually and electronically.
- Verifies statistical reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Compiles information.
- Handles and adjusting complaints, with supervisor input.
- Provides support and office skills to the supervisor.
- Demonstrate routine office functions with attention to detail.
- Prepares deliverables and submits to government for approval.
- Performs other duties in accordance with requirements as directed.
Supervisory Responsibilities
No direct supervisory responsibilities.
Physical Demands
- Required to walk, stand, sit and move about the property for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment
- Indoor/Outdoor; exposure to external environmental conditions possible.
- Noise level can range from minimal to intense.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be able to gain access to ISM and succesfully navigate modules.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams).
- Must be able to speak, write, read, understand English, and follow written/verbal directions.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be a self-starter; able to work as a team or independently, with limited supervision.
- Must be adaptable, flexible, and able to adjust to new or changing instructions.
- Must be able to multi-task and complete assignments accurately and on time.
- Must be able to maintain high standards of confidentiality.
- Must possess and present a valid state Real I.D. Driver's License.
- Must possess high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours to accommodate requirements, sometimes
- under short notice, to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Overtime may be required.
- Employee must complete timesheets daily, ensuring accurate data, both manually and via required
- system.
- Must submit to and pass random drug and/or alcohol testing.
- Must perform other duties in accordance with requirements as directed.
Security Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check.
- Must pass the National Agency Background Check and obtain computer access.
- Must be able to obtain a CAC.
