    The community you'll be caring for:
    AdventHealth Parker is a Level II Trauma Center that serves our community by providing excellent, community-focused health care.
    Since we opened our doors in 2004, we have grown into a regional medical center.
    In 2017, we received the designation of a Magnet Recognized Hospital.

    In 2018, we became one of the only five hospitals in the nation, and the only hospital in Colorado, to receive Joint Commission Certification for Bariatrics.

    We have 170 Licensed beds, 23 Emergency Department private rooms, and 13 surgical suites.

    The role you'll contribute:
    Provides quality patient care to all patients within two or more medical imaging departments. Performs high-quality images and exams on patients while maintaining sensitivity to patient needs. Follows standards of safe radiation practice. Demonstrates leadership abilities and is a role model for other associate technologists. Acts as a clinical resource to unit personnel and upholds current standards of practice for the unit.

    Performs imaging procedures, providing safety for self, patients and all other individuals.

    Practices all rules and regulations pertaining to radiation safety, reducing personal and patient exposure to "as low as reasonably achievable" (ALARA).

    Produces quality images in a complete, accurate and timely manner.
    Prepares patient for exam. Provides information and instruction to patient and/or family regarding the procedure and responds to their physical and emotional needs.
    Assists the patient during exam and positions the patient.
    Qualifications

    The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

    Education:
    High School Diploma or GED

    Experience: 1 year imaging experience

    Registered Technologist, Radiology
    One of the following advanced certifications: ARRT(MR); ARDMS RDCS+RVT; ARDMS RCS+RVT; ARDMS RDMS+RVT; ARRT RT(S)+RT(S)(VS); ARRT(N); NMTCB
    One additional modality certification (for a total of 3 certifications in radiology)
