    Job Summary:
    A Surgical Technologist, also known as a scrub tech, plays a vital role in the operating room, providing essential support to surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other surgical personnel during medical procedures

    Key Responsibilities:

    Preparation for Surgery:
    Set up the operating room with necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment. Ensure sterility and proper arrangement of surgical tools.


    Assist During Surgery:
    Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons and surgical assistants, adjust lights, and manage surgical equipment as required

    Maintain a Sterile Environment:
    Uphold strict sterile field standards to prevent infection. Monitor and maintain sterility throughout procedures.


    Patient Care:
    Assist in preparing patients for surgery, which may include positioning, shaving, and disinfecting incision sites

    Inventory Management:
    Keep track of surgical instruments and supplies, restocking as necessary and alerting staff to equipment needs or malfunctions

    Skills and Qualifications:
    Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.

    Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
    Physical stamina and manual dexterity.
