- Current RN license in Virginia
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an acute care setting
- American Heart Association CPR certification
- Certification in specialty area preferred
- ACLS, NRP, etc. certifications may be required
- Utilizing and documenting the nursing process according to standards
- Ensuring adequate staffing and resources for patient care
- Promoting the hospital's public image
- Developing leadership and professional relationships
- Providing age-appropriate education and experiences for clinical personnel
