    Position Overview: A Senior Cybersecurity Engineer has extensive IT experience in all aspects of Cyber Security with a vast array of IT systems involving end user as well as enterprise level networks. Experience in designing and implementing systems that meet agency Cyber Security policy and regulations. Must have extensive experience in Cyber Security Tools, network topologies, intrusion detection, PKI, ZTA and secured networks.

    Responsibilities:

    • Mature Cyber ZTA capabilities to improve Vulnerability Threat Management capabilities.
    • Work with privacy data, in order to increase Cloud application and infrastructure vulnerability scanning and reporting. Assist in developing architecture for integrating findings into a centralized dashboard that allows product owners direct access to team's specific systems or cloud account findings.

    • Provide System Security Engineering Reviews
    • Provides system engineering and architectural design support services

    Requirements

    • 10 Years Experience in Cyber Security
    • Masters of Science degree (or higher) in one of the following: computer science, electronics engineering, computer engineering, computer science, information technology, or cyber security. 10 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.

    Preferred/Desired:

    • CISSP
    • GIAC Security Essentials Certification
    • RMF, CSF, FISMA, and Fedramp
    • Familiarity with: ZTNA and SASE Framework, ICAM (OKTA), CWPP, SOC Operations, Vulnerability Threat Management, and Compliance

    Location:

    This position is remote

    Travel:

    Occasional travel to the VA offices may be required
