    Description

    Support Charleston financial activities for the Commercial Vehicle Systems group in collaboration with the local finance and site teams. A successful candidate will bring Controlling experience in a complex matrix organization, strong financial acumen and analysis skills, forecasting and budgeting expertise, SAP costing experience, collaborative interaction and communication, and dedication to drive efficiencies through continuous improvement.

    What you can look forward to as a Financial Analyst

    • Provides financial support, including forecasting, budgeting, and analyzing variations from budget
    • Analyze financial statements, interpret and recommend courses of action to assist management in the successful operating of the business
    • Support and approve Continuous Improvement Savings (CIS) projects and initiative
    • Develop financial models and projections to support long-term planning and ensure sustainable growth.
    • Track, analyze, and control indirect expense utilizing best practices
    • Track, analyze, and control freight expense utilizing best practices
    • Performs general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements such as balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements, and capital expenditure schedules
    • Prepares, records, analyzes, and reports accounting transactions and ensures the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles
    • Accounts Payable and Receivables tasks/support as needed
    • Fosters an inclusive culture of continuous improvement and high team performance
    • Other duties as assigned

    Your profile as Financial Analyst

    • Bachelor's in Finance or Accounting
    • 3-5 years of directly related experience
    • 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
    • Demonstrated experience with SAP, HFM, GAAP, IFRS, and Sarbanes Oxley
    • Proven interpersonal and communication skills within a multi-cultural environment
    • Ability to work independently and interface with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel
    • Dynamic, driven and energetic team player who works well under pressure with tight deadlines
    • Strong business acumen and advance analytical and problem solving
    • Strong organizational and task management skills
    • English language competency

    Preferred Skills and experience:

    • CPA or CMA
    • Experience within the automotive industry
