Floor Coverings International (FCI) is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Marketing/Development Manager to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by identifying and cultivating relationships with prospective clients. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of skills in relationship building, communication, networking, and marketing, with a strong background in home improvement.

Business Marketing/Development Manager Responsibilities:

• Hunting and Farming Relationships: Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients and industry partners through proactive outreach and relationship-building efforts.
• Communication: Effectively communicate the value of Floor Coverings International to customers through various channels, including verbal, written, and digital communication.
• Self-discipline and Self-starter: Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously and manage time efficiently to achieve targets and goals.
• Networking: Leverage networking opportunities, both online and in the field, to expand the company's presence and generate leads. Attend weekly networking events such as BNI and the Chamber of Commerce.
• Internet Networking and Social Media: Utilize online platforms and social media channels to engage with the community, promote brand awareness, and drive traffic to digital assets.
• Marketing Events: Plan and execute marketing events to showcase Floor Coverings International's products and services, driving engagement and generating leads.
• Home Improvement Experience: Leverage experience in the home improvement industry, with a focus on flooring knowledge as a bonus, to provide expert guidance and support to clients.
• Flexible Hours: Adapt to flexible working hours as needed to accommodate client schedules and networking events.
• Autonomous Position: Take ownership of projects and initiatives, demonstrating initiative and resourcefulness in achieving objectives.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in business development, marketing, or related field.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in internet networking and social media platforms.
• Experience in attending and participating in networking events such as BNI and the Chamber of Commerce.
• Background in the home improvement industry (flooring knowledge is a bonus).
• Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively.

Compensation range: $60,000 - $70,000 plus bonus opportunities
