- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' physical abilities, mobility, strength, and functional limitations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on assessment findings, student needs, and educational objectives.
- Implement evidence-based interventions and therapeutic exercises to improve students' motor skills, balance, coordination, and functional mobility.
- Provide direct physical therapy services to students in both individual and group settings, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities and equipment.
- Collaborate with teachers and other school personnel to integrate physical therapy goals and strategies into the academic curriculum and daily routines.
- Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans, ensuring that students receive appropriate accommodations and support services.
- Educate and empower students, families, and caregivers on techniques for promoting physical health, wellness, and independence within the school and home environments.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with regulatory requirements and professional standards.
