Job Title: Pilot Plant / R&D Operator

Job Description

We are looking for two committed Pilot Plant operators. In this role, you will spend most of your time (60-70%) in a lab environment, conducting distillations on a pilot/smaller scale, handling samples, operating Gas Chromatography machines, and mixing raw materials, particularly citrus oils. You will also be in charge of recording test results using Excel and Word. The remaining time (30-40%) will be spent in a manufacturing setting, which may at times not be climate controlled. Here, you will oversee large batches through machines, monitor distillation columns, and occasionally operate the packaging line. This position involves both day and night shifts, following a 7-days-on, 7-days-off schedule. Overtime might be necessary.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Winter Haven, Florida.

Work Environment

This position will require you to work in a variety of settings. Most of your time will be in a climate-controlled lab, but you may also need to work outdoors or in a non-climate controlled area. You will be part of a small, dedicated team but will interact with around 15 individuals from different departments.
