You Matter Here We offer competitive wages great benefits and generous earned time off Come work where you will matter Hours Per Diem Days Evenings Weekends Holidays as needed Salary $46.68 Responsibilities Conducts interactions with everyone in a friendly courteous and respectful manner Goes out of his/her way to offer assistance to others If he/she cannot offer assistance then finds someone who can Advocates to ensure privacy and confidentiality while helping others to maintain awareness Maintains a clean and safe hospital Responds appropriately and immediately in emergency situations Maintains a safe and healthy environment for patients visitors or staff to provide the highest level of physical comfort minimizing risk injury Ensures compliance with regulations to maintain accreditation licensure Complies with the Hospital Attendance Tardiness Policy Completed all Hospital Department Specific Mandatory requirements in the prior calendar year Reports Incidents in a timely effective manner All employees with direct patient contact are responsible for actively engaging in the practice of monitoring enforcing compliance to hand hygiene Systematically gathers evaluates relevant information data from the patient interview all patient information sources Develops an appropriate care plan for patients based upon systematic information gathering analysis Identifies variations expected findings understands significance such variations Takes appropriate actions when variations identified Assesses patients learning needs identifies learning style barriers learning assesses readiness learn Identifies situations involve family significant other friends patents education Plans provides patent teaching Evaluates patients understanding condition treatment prognosis Informs patents plan care discharge plan follow up instructions Evaluates validates effectiveness patent teaching Prepares patent accept level responsibility own care Coordinates care healthcare providers When appropriate delegates healthcare providers Assesses reassesses patients condition status progress Prioritizes reprioritizes modifies plan based upon patients assessment condition Documents implementation plan adverse unexpected events outcomes Measures administers correct medication dosage physicians order Administers respiratory therapy treatments oxygen therapy Understand purpose possible side effects associated respiratory therapy treatments Obtains ABGs hospital policy Performs Pulse Oximetry ensures accurate results Performs Pulmonary Function following ATS Standards Performs EKGs quality recordings Assists flexible fiberoptic bronchoscopy Sets up mechanical ventilators including BIPAP CPAP Units selects correct patient parameters Assesses mechanical ventilators BIPAP CPAP functioning ensure safe operation Assessing patient status uses inform recommend changes patents
