    Job Description

    Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

    Support student growth over the summer by providing physical therapy services within school settings across Bucks County. These contract positions offer an opportunity to work with diverse student populations, including those with moderate to severe needs, ensuring access to quality therapy during ESY (Extended School Year) programming from late June through July.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Deliver physical therapy services aligned with student IEP goals in various school and center-based settings.
    • Collaborate with educators and related services staff to support student participation and functional outcomes.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports.
    • Adapt therapy plans to meet individual student needs within itinerant or center-based models.
    • Participate in orientation and preparation activities prior to ESY instruction.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Active PA license meeting PDE physical therapist certification standards.
    • Ability to work with students exhibiting a range of abilities including moderate to severe behavioral challenges.
    • Reliable transportation with residence within 35 minutes of assigned location.
    • Commitment to the full ESY schedule: June 29 July 30, with Monday through Thursday hours.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
    • Experience in school or pediatric physical therapy preferred.
    • Must be able to provide a supervisor reference and submit all required documentation to proceed with credentialing.

    Locations & Schedule:

    • Positions available in multiple Bucks County locations including Doylestown, Lower, Central, and Upper Bucks counties.
    • Hours vary from 12 to 24 hours per week depending on site, generally between 8:45 a.m. and 2:45 p.m.
    • Attendance Monday through Thursday during ESY program dates is mandatory.
