Open Position: Senior Research Associate, Molecular Bio

Join our innovative team as a Senior Research Associate, where you'll contribute to groundbreaking plant breeding using advanced gene editing technology. Your role will center on conducting and designing laboratory experiments to identify gene editing targets that enhance plant health and agricultural practices.

    Core Duties:

Play a pivotal role in a team dedicated to creating sustainable, disease-resistant, and quality-improved crops through next-generation gene editing.

Independently manage molecular cloning experiments and assay development to construct DNA constructs and perform functional characterizations in microbial and plant systems.

Engage in interdisciplinary teamwork to identify and verify new gene editing targets, reporting progress through written and oral communication within team meetings.

    Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Genetics, Plant Biology, Biochemistry, or a similar field, with relevant laboratory experience.

Strong grasp and application of molecular biology techniques such as cloning, PCR/qPCR, western blot, and functional expression assays.

Knowledge of gene editing and analytical chemistry (e.g., GC, HPLC) is favorable, along with a background in protein interaction assays.

Demonstrated creative problem-solving in experimental design and an aptitude for independent work in a highly collaborative environment.

Experience in agricultural biotechnology or plant biology is advantageous.

This opportunity is for someone eager to grow professionally in a dynamic, cutting-edge environment focused on gene editing.
