**Requirements:**

High school diploma, GED equivalent, OR 18+ years of age.

Prior experience working in a customer service or retail environment.

Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Passion for guest service and excellent interpersonal skills.

Passion for accountability, communication, reliability, dedication, and learning.

Sufficient visual ability to check identification and process credit cards.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (carrying cases of milk, etc.)

**Primary Responsibilities:**

Takes direction from the Assistant and General Managers.

Serves as a retail ambassador for the Sudden Service brand.

Performs basic math functions to collect payments and make accurate change.

Reports to work on time, ready and excited to work scheduled shift.

Keeps the store clean and orderly.

Maintains an accurate cash drawer and basic retail inventory count.

Memorizes product locations throughout the retail store and guides customers while providing suggestions, as needed.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

Prior experience with professional cash handling procedures.

Desire for a long-term career in retail services

Prior experience in a C-Store and/or food service environments.

**What you will be doing:**

Day-to-day team management

Implement and monitor Personal Insurance objectives such as commission revenue, policy count, accounts receivable, quality of the books of business and expenses

Work with other Managers and Team Leads to ensure quality of services and sales targets

Overall staffing and leadership of the team. Communicate to front lines all changes and new directions

Develop succession plan for all key positions

Provide ongoing coaching, guidance and feedback regarding performance as well as facilitating continuous learning and development of the team

Support marketing initiatives such as trade shows for the branch

**What you bring to the table:**

Post-secondary education

5-8 years or more insurance industry experience, with extensive personal lines experience

Minimum 3 years management experience preferred

CIP, CRM or CAIB designation preferred

Level 2 RIBO License preferred

Customer first mentality

Strong communication and people skills

Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully

Strong analytical and organizational skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to pass a criminal background check and credit check preferred
