    Brief Overview

    Our client is a market leading commercial EV Infrastructure installer, operating across the East Coast they are on the market to expand their team due to large contract wins. Their market of expertise are within the commercial sector installing DC charge points on both public and destination projects.

    Duties

    The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the projects objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle. The project manager is direct responsible of the safety of the project.

    • Responsible for the P&L of the project
    • Responsible to drive project and profit plans to budget through successful leadership, organizational plans, customer engagement, and outstanding execution of all field operations strategies of the project consistently with company procedures and policies
    • Define project scope, goals and deliverables to meet the business goals
    • Administrate the different contracts. Fulfil the contract provisions
    • Track and report project milestones and deliverables
    • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents
    • Effectively communicate project expectations to contractors in a timely and clear fashion
    • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
    • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project
    • Recommend subsequent budget and schedule changes where necessary
    • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path. Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
    • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
    • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
    • Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
    • Lead QA/QC of the projects and make sure all department personnel reach Corporate Safety Goals.

    Required Experience and Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree or technical degree in Engineering or any relevant field.
    • 5+ years experience in EV construction and project management. Electrical background (i.e. substations / interconnection) would be a plus.
    • Self-motivated with excellent leadership and organizational skills
    • Teamwork oriented, trouble shooting and human resource skills
    • Extensive knowledge and experience managing projects and subcontractors
    • Strong oral and written communication
    • Knowledge of appropriate software
