Job Description

We are looking for an Engineer in Power Electronics for Global Traction Projects close to Zurich for one of our biggest customer who is a leader in his sector.

Your Responsibilities:

Engineering drive systems, energy storage systems, and auxiliary systems with integration into the vehicle based on customer-specific requirements, applicable standards, and internal specifications.

Serving as a technical contact for customers and collaboratively developing solutions.

Specifying, conducting, documenting, and evaluating type and qualification tests.

Specifying components and defining technical requirements in collaboration with suppliers.

Contributing to the shaping of product families regarding standardization, improvements, and maintenance.

Progressing into an expert role regarding core components, supporting team members, and independently designing optimization processes and customer solutions.


Your Profile:

You have an electrical engineering degree (focus on power electronics) or a few years of professional experience in a similar position.

You have an initial practical experience in power electronics and interest in power electronics, preferably in drive technology.

Team player, you have enthusiasm for learning and sharing knowledge with your colleagues.

Strong team player who enjoys independently solving challenging situations.

You have excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).

Willingness to travel on occasional business trips.
