- Write assessments in intelligence products, responses and briefings, as well as provide expertise to other analysts
- Prepare intelligence assessments on defense implications of scientific and technological advances, to include but not limited to finished intelligence products, responses to requests for information, collection requirements, and briefings
- Perform open source and classified data search for military/civilian research, development and acquisition related to medical systems.
- Gather/assesses relevant information from all available sources, including but not limited to, the internet, newspapers and magazines, professional journals, target country health and research departments and ministries, video and radio transcriptions, conference abstracts and proceedings, unpublished these and research reports, approved outside experts, and the full range of classified intelligence information data sources available to the intelligence community, as well as through interaction with analyst, Division Branch Chiefs/Senior Intelligence Officers
- Detail-oriented with a proficiency for researching, analyzing, and prioritizing information.
- Demonstrates ability to use logic when evaluating and synthesizing multiple sources of information.
- Demonstrates ability to defend analytic judgments with sound, logical conclusions and adapt analytic judgments when presented with new information, evolving conditions, or unexpected developments.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Excel Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

- Bachelor's Degree in a scientific field of study with at least 4 years of related experience OR a master's degree in a related field with 2 years of related experience, or high school diploma/equivalent with at least 8 years of related and demonstrated work experience.
