Job Summary:
This is a Part-Time Speech Language Pathologist Supervisor position that provides clinical leadership and direct patient care across multiple locations including New York City Westchester and Long Island.The ideal candidate must be flexible and willing to travel
Clinical & Patient Care Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' speech language cognitive-communication and swallowing abilities Develop implement and oversee individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs Provide direct speech therapy services as needed Ensure continuity quality of care Monitor patient progress adjust treatment plans in collaboration with the care team Educate patients families on communication strategies home exercise programs Supervisory & Leadership Duties Provide clinical supervision mentorship guidance Supervise Speech Language Pathologists support staff Review evaluations treatment plans documentation outcomes ensure quality compliance Support onboarding training competency development speech therapy staff Serve clinical resource best practices complex cases Participate performance evaluations professional development initiatives Collaboration Compliance Collaborate interdisciplinary healthcare teams holistic patient care Ensure federal state local regulations payer requirements agency policies Quality assurance performance improvement initiatives related to speech therapy services Stay current advancements evidence-based practices regulatory changes
Qualifications Graduate accredited Speech-Language Pathology program Current valid Speech-Language Pathologist license state practice Certificate Clinical Competence CCC-SLP preferred required per state regulations Minimum two years clinical experience Speech-Language Pathologist supervisory experience preferred Home health long-term geriatric experience preferred Demonstrated leadership organizational clinical decision-making skills Strong verbal written communication skills
