- Manage various fire protection engineering projects by collaborating with clients and Engineers to support building design aspirations and oversee the design of fire suppression and alarm systems.
- Exemplify exceptional client care and consultancy on projects of all scales, guiding your team and ensuring high-quality design delivery.
- Be accountable for the financial performance of projects, ensuring timely and top-notch design outcomes.
- Represent Buro Happold at design meetings and engage with approval authorities on fire safety designs.
- Specify appropriate fire protection systems to support engineering design solutions.
- Conduct and review fire engineering calculations, from hand calculations to complex 3D modeling.
- Address design issues effectively, seeking assistance when needed.
- Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders to drive new commissions and work opportunities.
- Share knowledge within the team and beyond.
- Demonstrated expertise in delivering fire protection solutions in a multi-disciplinary environment.
- 7-10 years of relevant experience.
- Strong consultancy and communication skills.
- Proactive nature with the ability to lead in challenging situations.
- Capability to develop profitable client relationships.
- Problem-solving aptitude and willingness to travel.
- Preference for a Licensed FPE.
- Competitive salary range of $87,000 to $125,000.
