    Concrete CDL Driver:
    The CDL Driver assists operations by handling the loading and unloading of equipment, supplies, and materials. Responsibilities for our CDL Driver involve engaging in physically demanding general labor duties.


    What Do You Offer Us:

    • Safely operate and drive commercial vehicles, ensuring compliance with traffic laws and regulations.
    • Follow designated routes efficiently using navigation tools and maps.
    • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting any issues promptly.
    • Load and unload cargo or passengers, ensuring proper weight distribution and security.
    • Maintain accurate records and adhere to regulatory requirements.
    • Interact professionally with customers, shippers, and receivers.
    • Use communication devices to stay in contact with dispatchers and supervisors.
    • Respond to emergencies on the road following established procedures.
    • Attend safety training sessions and follow company safety policies.
    • Perform basic maintenance tasks and report vehicle issues to maintenance personnel.
    • Adapt driving techniques to changing road and weather conditions.
    • Develop familiarity with common routes and destinations for efficiency.
    • Transport and unload materials, conduct daily equipment inspections and maintenance.
    • Assist with concrete and asphalt mixing, pouring, spreading, and related tasks.
    • Collaborate within a team environment to achieve goals.
    • Undertake assigned miscellaneous duties.

    • Hourly rate ranging from $28.00 to $32.00 based on experience.

    Requirements:

    • Must hold a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), A or B.
    • Familiarity with DOT regulations.
    • Possession of a DOT Medical Card.
    • Successful completion of Pre-Employment drug screen and background check.
    • Are you able to stand or walk for long periods with repeated lifting (Up to 50 lbs.), kneeling, crawling, climbing and reaching?
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Minimum of 1 year of construction general labor experience or equivalent military experience.
    • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, with repeated lifting (up to 50 lbs.), kneeling, crawling, climbing, and reaching.


    This position is subject to the Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) drug & alcohol testing regulations as outlined in 49 CFR Part 382 and/or 49 CFR Part 199.
