- Use Excel Spreadsheets to communicate billing claim data to the insurance provider
- Work through denial management with large insurance companies to maximize contracted payments
- Upload billing files to the claims clearinghouse
- Some coding experience is a real plus
- Handle correspondence as necessary
- Research and resolve medical billing issues
- Two (2) to three (3) years experience working as a commercial medical collector in a healthcare environment
- Ability to work off a medical accounts aging report
- Past proven ability to work 40 medical claims per day
- Strong skills working with Excel
