- Assist in pulling required instrumentation, supplies, and equipment
- Prepare rooms with disinfectant, manage room turnover, and restock supplies
- Participate in opening sterile supplies under supervision
- Prepare work areas, drape, and organize instrumentation
- Scrub, gown, and glove according to procedure
- Aid in gowning and gloving surgeons
- Anticipate instrument needs based on physician preferences
- Ensure sterile field integrity and cleanliness
- Participate in surgical counts
- Demonstrate proper use of surgical equipment
- Hold retractors under surgeon's direction
- Act as a sterile processing technician
- Current student of an accredited Surgical Technology program
- Flexibility for part-time hours to accommodate school schedules
- Current BLS certification at the time of hire
