ATS is seeking a Tech Writer for one of our Prime Contracts with the "Maryland Customer"
While Tech Writer may be the job title, there is much more to it
It's a policy writer, white paper editor, and requirements gatherer
You will work with customers to translate requirements, so a successful candidate should be good at writing, editing, using style guides and manuals, etc
This is our PRIME contract, and it's what I would call a "really cool" mission – CI / insider threat focused
You'd have coworkers who are always at the top of their game, in an environment with very low turnover
At a minimum, I would call this a level 2 position
We could also hire up to level 3
For level 2, you'll need 6 years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government
A Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required
Four (4) years of additional technical writing experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
