Description

Charter Engineering Inc. has a great opportunity for an Electrical Engineer with a background in RF and Microwave design. We are a manufacturer of coaxial switches for the commercial, aerospace, and defense industries for more than 20 years. The position is for a full time on site engineer located in Pinellas Park, FL.

Preferred Qualifactions:
Bachelor's degree or MSEE in Electrical Engineering preferred.
Will consider recent graduates. Equivalent experience considered.
Ability to understand electrical and mechanical schematics.
Ability and dedication to understand and engineer our products.
Self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and tackle engineering challenges.
Interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
Personal qualities of integrity, honesty, and strong work ethic.
Ability to build and maintain critical customer engineering support.

Preferred Skills and Experience:
Knowledge in RF engineering concepts a plus.
Knowledge in Mechanical engineering a plus.
Hands-on experience with wireless test and measurement equipment including network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, and oscilloscopes a plus.
