The Research Associate is a key member of a research team responsible for conducting experiments analyzing data and contributing to scientific investigations.This position is ideal for candidates with a strong scientific background who are eager to engage in independent and collaborative research projects.
Education & Experience
Master's Degree in a field of science or Bachelor's in a field of science and two (2) years of laboratory experience
Responsibilities
Design and execute experiments under the direction of the principal investigator PI Conduct molecular cellular and/or biochemical assays as part of research studies Collect analyze and interpret experimental data using statistical imaging software Contribute to manuscript preparation presentation skills Collaborate with teams support ongoing studies Train mentor junior staff students assistants guidance lab procedures best practices Manage inventory order supplies reagents Troubleshoot equipment coordinate maintenance repairs May assist animal husbandry collection physiological data euthanasia
