**Description**

The Van Driver will transport passengers to their destination in a timely and safe manner. This vehicle will only go to designated locations as assigned.
**Shift:** Open Availability
**Essential Job Functions:**
Drive van along a designated route to designated locations to pick up and drop off of passengers in accordance with established schedules.
Conducts pre- and post-trip inspections.
Prepare and maintain records and reports related to vehicle operation, condition; maintain and document mileage for each trip.
Submits completed reports and records documentation to Regional Retail Manager.
Communicates any maintenance, mechanical malfunctions, or other safety concerns immediately to the Director of Safety & Wellness, Director of Property & Facilities, and Regional Retail Manager.
Ensures proper use of seat belts and other approved safety equipment for passengers.
Participate in routine cleaning, servicing, and minor maintenance of vehicle as necessary.
Ability to communicate effectively with employees, passengers and other customers of the organization.
Performs other duties as assigned.
**Requirements:**
Ability to complete basic forms such as Incident Reports.
Displays great customer service and interaction with employees and customers.
Must have the ability to work a rotating schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to manage long periods of sitting, and the ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
Must have valid drivers license, insurance, and driving records acceptable for company-provided insurance while in company vehicle.
Travel to other locations beyond the assigned work location is required.
**Education/Specialized Knowledge Requirements:**
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), preferred.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; must have accuracy with record reporting, i.e., vehicle usage and safety check logs.
