We are one of the few facilities in the area that can provide care to those individuals with both coexisting psychiatric and medical conditions.

Position Summary
The Mental health Techinician functions as an active part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients ranging in age from young adult (17) through geriatrics depending on which unit worked.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High School Degree or equivalent preferred; Certified Nursing Assistant required.
Experience:
One year of related experience, with knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques with understanding of mental illness, preferred.
Additional Requirements:
Successful completion of CPR certification, and CPI Non-violent Crisis Intervention prior to assisting in restraining procedures. Must pass ACE Test with a C or higher. May be required to work overtime and flexible hours.
