    We are seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for an immediate opening in Worcester, MA.

    • Job Type: Travel
    • Duration: 13 weeks
    • Hours: 40 hours per week
    • Shift: 8 hours, days

    Responsibilities

    1. Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
    2. Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support as required
    3. Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions
    4. Conduct mammography studies and maintain production and quality of mammograms by following established standards and procedures
    5. Develop mammograms, observe mammogram results, retake mammograms as required, and forward completed studies to radiologists for interpretation
    6. Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures
    7. Maintain accurate patient records
    8. Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

    Requirements

    • Experience: 1 year
    • Certifications: ARRT (M), BLS
    • Licenses: State-specific licensing when required

    Salary

    The salary for this position is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
