    FLSmidth Inc., a leader in sustainable solutions for the mining industry, is seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of Senior Manager of Finance in Tucson, AZ.


    The Senior Manager of Finance is responsible for directing the financial activities related to the operation of the facility and act as business partner to general and local managers.

    You will be responsible for developing and submitting budgets, forecasts, and analysis of operations and ensure compliance with corporate policy and accepted accounting practices.

    This position will assemble the required corporate reporting monthly or as needed.

    Your Responsibilities

    Act as business partner to the site general manager and key member of operations management team.
    Analyze financial statements and operational cost for comparison to budget and forecast.
    Proactively highlight any trends that require attention and work with the team to implement corrective actions and/or improvements.
    Coordinate input from various operations departments to prepare budgets and forecasts as required.
    Develop product costing.
    Responsible for preparation of all monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
    Create financial models, simulations, and other automated financial decision-making tools.
    Monitor and drive improvements in working capital working.
    Audit all plant financial operations to ensure compliance with corporate policy and good accounting practices.
    Respond to unusual situations which dictate spontaneous and out of the ordinary solutions.
    Provide timely response for ad hoc financial analyses as required.
    Perform other duties and projects as required.

    What You Bring

    10+ years of experience working with cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and preparation of financial statements in a manufacturing environment.
    Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. MBA a plus.
    High-energy self-starter that can work with minimal guidance and has a history of successful accomplishments.
    Ability to work in with ambiguity and develop structure and processes.
    Must have a demonstrated hands-on approach and success in working in a team-based environment.
    Ability to prioritize across competing tasks.
    Passionate about process improvements; drive to go the extra mile to obtain results.
    Strong understanding of cost accounting and inventory management. Experience with standard costing and production cost variance analysis. Knowledgeable of production costing systems, both job order costing and process costing.
    Strong foundation of cost baselines and allocation methodologies.
    High level of expertise in MS Excel. AS400 / Aurora experience a plus.
    Power Query and Power BI experience.
    Financial Modeling Experience.
    Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
