    Job Summary

    The Medical Scribe role involves assisting physicians in documenting patient medical charts. The physician introduces the Medical Scribe to the patient, who documents the care provided.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Accompany physicians into patient exam rooms to transcribe medical information.
    • Sign and date medical record entries to identify role as Medical Scribe.
    • Track lab results and communicate with healthcare providers.
    • Demonstrate knowledge of patient safety and provide a safe environment of care.
    • Exhibit courtesy and respect towards patients and colleagues.
    • Perform front office duties as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Comprehensive Medical Terminology experience.
