Description
Our client, a large hospital network in Jackson, WY, is seeking several Registered Scrub Nurses who have experience scrubbing in major surgeries including Ortho, General Surgery, OB/GYN, etc.
You will be tasked with preparing and sterilizing the operating rooms, as well as the necessary equipment and instruments, prior to any surgical procedure.
You will also be charged with preparing the patients for surgery and help provide a great patient experience overall.This is a full-time position with PTO accrual starting the 1 st day of employment.
If you do not live near Jackson, WY, the client offers a generous $2k relocation bonus, along with a 6-month housing stipend of $1,350/month.
10,000 sign-on bonus
$2,000 relocation stipend
$1,350/month temporary housing stipend for 6 months w/2-year employment agreement
Reviews OPS schedule and anticipates patient care and department needs
Able to care for multiple patients in all phases of perioperative care
Helps communicate with family, physicians, & staff regarding changes in patient status
Plans, sets up and assists with major surgeries
Assume duties within or out of the sterile field as assigned
Pass medical instruments or other objects to the surgeon during operation
In-depth knowledge of surgical operation procedures
At least 2 years of Operating Room experience (3 years preferred)
