- Drive the EDS Canteen to pick-up food, distribute and return leftovers to school.
- Responsible to complete school forms as directed along with The Salvation Army's statistical forms on a daily basis.
- This role is responsible to build quality healthy relationships with children from the local community through positive interaction
- To be a positive example and reflect the love of Jesus Christ, keeping the environment as uplifting and safe as positive.
- Perform other duties as assigned as related to the Mobile Outreach Meals program.
- This position may be required to work hours outside of normal business hours, to include holidays and weekends.
- Driving is an essential function of the position.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Ability to be flexible and able to work on multiple projects or tasks simultaneously
- Basic skills in Microsoft software to the ability to access payroll, timekeeping, and personal data via a web-based system
- Team player, self-starter and performs well with minimal supervision.
- Administrative skills to include utilization of standard office equipment, data entry, 10-key, attention to details and filing
- Good communication skills both written and spoken, and ability to maintain effective workingrelationships
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential matters.

Summary/Primary Purpose: Lee County, Iowa is one of the highest food insecure counties in Iowa. During the school year children are fed at school with breakfast and lunch, however, in the summer many children go without proper nutrition. Working in conjunction with the Keokuk School District, The Salvation Army provides a meal per day to children throughout Lee County who are not able to walk to the school for a free summer lunch.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Vision abilities will require close vision. Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
Working Conditions: The majority of the workday will be outdoors to serve food to children and may be exposed to varying weather conditions and noise levels that are low to moderate.
