Job summary
In support of the development of the Clara Maass Security Team as a service line and in support of the Corporate Security mission to compassionately protect and help the people property and quality of our health system together under direct supervision staffs the Security Communications Center participates in communication activities of Clara Maass Medical Center Security Team.
Ability to work fast-paced environment requires highly organized change course immediately while maintaining positive attitude strong work ethic continuously monitor closed-circuit television CCTV access control fire alarm other security systems detect potential threats breaches review assess analyze identify trends data sets using excel respond security fire alarms assess situation initiate appropriate actions which may include dispatching security personnel contacting emergency services serve central point contact relaying information via radio phone email to security staff management external agencies police fire departments coordinate dispatch security personnel equipment problem areas incidents maintain accurate detailed logs secure events incidents actions taken prepare reports recommendations management coordinate local emergency responders manage crises medical emergencies natural disasters assist key control provide operational support managing radio call logs handling incoming outgoing shipments assisting with key control.
