    Nurse Manager - Women Services (RN) Location: Houston, TX

    • Salary Range: $39.04 to $48.80
    • Sign-On Bonus: Evaluated case by case.

    Role Insight & Responsibilities:

    • Shift:
      • Days: 7 am-4 pm
    • Primary Duties:
      • Oversee nursing care and related services.
      • Foster multidisciplinary patient care including nursing, medical, respiratory care, laboratory, pharmaceutical, and public relations.
      • Collaborate with the Nurse Director for budget formulation and control.
      • Administer and assess continuous process improvement within provided services.
      • Oversee all human resources functions including hiring, evaluating, termination, counseling, coaching, and staff development.
      • Direct professional nursing practices to uphold quality patient care.
      • Establish and review policies and procedures.
      • Create and review disaster preparedness policies and procedures.
      • Offer round-the-clock coverage and problem resolution for the services provided.
      • Other duties as assigned.

    Your Eligibility:

    • Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent acute care staff experience and 2 years in a Charge or Supervisor role in L&D or APU (Antepartum) unit.
    • Educational Background: BSN (Mandatory), MSN and RNC (Preferred).
    • Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas.
    • Certifications:
      • BCLS
      • Medication Learning Module
      • NRP and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification (within six months of hire).

    Unit Insight:

    • Bed Count: Antepartum unit has 50 beds.
    • Team Size: Oversee approximately 65 FTE's.
