Registered Nurse (RN)


Dept:
Cardiac Cath Lab-may float to either IR or ASU

Shift:
Full Time 6:30am - 4pm/72 Hours per Pay

Upper Valley Medical Center

Practices professional nursing care in an autonomous manner supported by evidenced-based practice, professional standards of care, and code of ethics.

Provides care for patients across the life span in a manner sensitive to social and cultural diversity.

The Registered Nurse manages the nursing care in an interdisciplinary manner, in collaboration with the healthcare team, family, and significant other.

Current Ohio State license as a Registered Nurse required.
Has practiced as a Registered Nurse in health care within the last 3 years.
ACLS Certification. Professional Level CPR required.
Ability to read and communicate effectively in English with strong interpersonnal skills.
Requires critical thinking and prioritization skills.

Critical care experience (3-5 years) knowledge of cardiovascular medications and administration of IV fluids and contrast, routine care of cardiovascular patient, and cardiovascular emergencies/operating room.

6-12 months of on-the-job experience to obtain a minimum level of proficiency.
Graduate from an NLN accredited School of Nursing.
