    Security Analyst with Security Clearance

    Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer–oriented Security Analyst to join our team in the Chantilly, VA area.


    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    Interfacing between Government agencies and industrial organizations for obtaining, verifying, and granting access to NRO programs. Updating, maintaining, and auditing the security clearance database. Conducting personnel clearance verification. Keeping daily metrics of work completed. Using multiple NRO, DOD, and IC databases including, but not limited to, SCT, DISS, Scattered Castles, etc. Maintaining confidentiality of assets and information pertaining to personnel security. Eliciting, articulating, and documenting information in a well–organized manner.

    Supporting PSD personnel in all security analysis tasks that contribute to the processing, issuance, or revocation of personnel security clearances.

    Travelling locally to meet with customers and fulfill requirements as necessary.

    Conducting additional tasks as required to assist in security analysis and may be surged and/or permanently relocated internally to PSD to support mission needs.


    Basic Qualifications:

    Associate degree and 1 or more year of relevant experience or High School/GED and 4 or more years of relevant experience.

    Ability to learn various databases during performance of the contract. Prioritize competing tasks and possess effective time management skills.

    Experience in personnel security processing related to background investigations and/or security access determinations in adjudications consistent with SEAD 4 and E.O guidelines.


    Preferred Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree and 5 or more years of relevant experience or High School/GED and 8 or more years of relevant experience.

    Exceptional customer skills. Demonstrated ability to problem solve and develop and create innovative solutions. Demonstrated technical understanding to be able to teach how to use various security applications. Ability to complete customer requests on deadline with short suspense times and competing/shifting priorities.


    Security Clearance Requirements:
    An active and current TS/SCI with Poly is required


    Physical Requirements:

    Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

    For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.–person status or obtaining any necessary license.

    The applicant will be required to answer certain questions for export control purposes, and that information will be reviewed by compliance personnel to ensure compliance with federal law.

    ManTech may choose not to apply for a license for such individuals whose access to export–controlled technology or software source code may require authorization and may decline to proceed with an applicant on that basis alone.
