*Establishing specific and focused treatment plans for children, utilizing historical and current available information
*Providing trauma-informed counseling and treatment services to children/youth in care, birth parents and foster parents.
*Intervening in crisis situations.
*Working collaboratively as a part of a multidisciplinary team to promote stability.
CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
*Graduate of an Accredited School of Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapist, Creative Art Therapist.
*Licensed by the State of NY, LCSW, LMHC, LMHC, LMFT or eligible for a limited permit.
*Good writing/record keeping skills and organizational skills.
