Responsibilities

Design coordination of transportation infrastructure projects including roadways corridors roundabouts curbs retaining walls overpasses transit facilities wildlife crossings
Preparation of geometric design plans profiles in compliance with Caltrans local regional standards
Development grading drainage stormwater management plans for transport corridors Design utility systems coordination public agencies providers Preparation reports studies documentation supports projects Development specifications quantity takeoffs cost estimates transport infrastructures Integration multimodal sustainable elements complete streets green infrastructure ADA compliance Application Federal State City County codes permitting regulatory requirements Projects Collaboration departments external stakeholders agencies consultants community groups lifecycle Requirements
- 3+ years experience in transport engineer focus on roadway system multicorridor roundabout curb retaining wall overpass transit facility wildlife crossing etc li>B S Civil Engineering related field ABET-accredited program required Proficient AutoCAD Civil 3D EIT certification highly preferred Strong written verbal communication skills Ability collaborate internal teams partners public agencies consultants stakeholders Physical Demands Must regularly talk hear operate computer keyboard mouse occasionally lift pull/push carry up pounds accommodations Work Conditions Exposure constant intermittent sounds office setting High-stress fast-paced deadline-oriented environment Travel other locations client sites may required Benefits
