    Sr. Product Manager | 100% Remote Opportunity (open to candidates currently located in the United States and able to work without sponsorship )

    General Summary:

    The Sr. Product Manager is a strategic hands-on product and business leader who will drive the next generation digital strategies, product and service for an EMPLOYERS system/product that enable best-in-class experiences for our customers and workforce. This Sr. Product Manager will work with the business operational leaders, customer experience, design, business architecture, product development, engineering, and analytics teams to transform a system lifecycle, customer support and operations while building internal capabilities that empower our employees to serve and delight customers at every touchpoint.

    The Sr. Product Manager is a strategic "thinker" and an effective "doer" that will conceive, plan and implement new ways of working that breaks down silos, leads through design thinking, and builds solutions based on measured outcomes. In this critical position, this Sr. Product Manager will need to identify strategic and operational business opportunities and challenges, propose product and operational innovative solutions and test options through rapid experimentation by starting small, failing fast and continuously optimizing. This Sr. Product Manager is expected to be a catalyst for change, building a culture of shared outcomes where cross-functional teams of experts work together in service of the greater goals of the organization.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • In partnership with business leaders lead the product(s) vision, goals, strategy and roadmap.
    • Develop the product and operational business plan and model
    • Working with human centered designers, lead the identification of internal and external customer challenges and opportunities. Establish the target personas and associated business and product solutions.
    • Work closely with business operations and stakeholders to identify and analyze strategic and core business processes and workflows
    • Define and conduct target market analysis including TAM/SAM/SOM, and market segmentation
    • Identify strategic Blue Ocean opportunities for optimizing and digitally transforming existing business processes, products, services and operations.
    • Direct and lead business architecture analysis and documentation of business requirements for product and business process improvement/automation efforts
    • Lead the definition and documentation of product features, epics, stories and UAT criteria.
    • Lead, test and refine product and UI/UX visual designs with stakeholders and customers
    • Produce and manage product roadmaps and backlogs, release planning and forecasting, and KPI's and success metrics. Lead backlog grooming, Sprint planning, UAT, and stakeholder sign-off.
    • Document and drive completion of non-functional requirements
    • Define and perform continuous analysis for ongoing improvement of assigned business processes
    • Perform User Acceptance Testing of internal and vendor releases prior to moving them into production
    • Create training materials and self-service guidance for end users and stakeholders
    • Create documentation of current and ideal state processes and workflows
    • Other duties may be assigned.

    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in product management, computer science, or related field or equivalent work experience
    • 5 years' experience in digital product management of product suites used by internal and external customers.
    • 5 years of experience in Agile and scrum processes and product development
    • Knowledge of internal company systems a plus
    • Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to extensively analyze business processes and workflows
    • Experience developing product vision, goals, objectives, and business requirements
    • Experience in digital transformation and leading market analysis
    • Knowledge of human centered design, design thinking, UX/UI practices
    • Excellent business/client engagement skills
    • Experience facilitating workshops and focus groups
    • Experience developing instructional and procedural documentation and presentations
    • High level of competence with MS Office, Atlassian suite, JIRA, and Lucid charts
    • Certification as a scrum master and/or product owner is a plus

    An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for the requirements listed above.
