    Responsibilities

    Lead the design and coordination of HVAC systems for a range of projects, ensuring energy-efficient and sustainable solutions.

    Collaborate with clients, architects, and internal teams to develop design concepts and deliverables.

    Manage and mentor junior engineering staff, providing guidance and oversight to ensure project success.

    Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and system sizing to meet project requirements.

    Prepare and review HVAC construction documents, specifications, and reports, and ensure they comply with all applicable codes and regulations.

    Conduct site visits to verify system installations and provide technical support during construction.

    Stay current with industry advancements and incorporate the latest HVAC technologies into project designs.

    Assist in project management tasks, including budget control and timeline adherence.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

    Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.

    Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC design, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

    Proficiency in HVAC design software and other relevant tools. Especially AutoCAD, Revit and Trace/HAP.

    Plumbing and/or Fire Protection design experience is a plus.

    Strong knowledge of industry codes, standards, and regulations.

    Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

    Leadership experience and the ability to manage and mentor junior engineers.
