Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Radiologist and Director of Radiology, perform quality CT scans and as needed radiography, while applying both radiation and physical safety measures
Maintain a high degree of accuracy in contrast administration, positioning and exposure technique
Remain sensitive to the physical and emotional needs of the patient through good communication, patient assessment, patient monitoring, and patient care skills
Use independent, professional, ethical judgment and critical thinking

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

Certification and current registration for Registered Technologist (R.T.) from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Graduation from or currently enrolled in an accredited CT training certificate program or school.
Must hold or obtain current licensure as RT(R)(CT) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist within one year of hire.
Must have BLS certification

Preferred Job Requirements:

Associates/Technical degree
Previous imaging/radiology experience
