Description
**Food and Beverage PM Server**
**Position**
Seasonal Food and Beverage- PM Server (Early May- Mid October)
**Classification**
Full-Time Seasonal, Hourly, Non-Exempt
**Reports To**
Events and Food and Beverage Director
Food and Beverage Managers
**Job Summary**
To promptly greet and serve all guests at the assigned service location from the hours of 1:00pm to 12:00am (hours may vary on service needs), which includes providing exceptional hospitality and guest experience.
**Qualifications**
Must be 18 years of age
Minimum 2 years of fine dining in a restaurant or club setting
Knowledge of fine dining steps of service
General knowledge of food preparation
Experience with proper wine service
Knowledge of craft cocktails, beer and variety of spirits
Required to stand for long periods of time
Capable of lifting 50 pounds
Must be able to bend, squat, lift and raise as needed along with carrying 10 pounds for an extended distance
Ability to complete Responsible Beverage Server Training Course
General math, problem solving and decision-making skills
Ability to communicate with guests and employees with a positive attitude
**Responsibilities & Duties**
Consult opening check list to ensure all service areas are properly set up
Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by a manager
Check tee sheets and daily events for detailed charging information including Google Docs and table set up as needed
Maintaining floor presence and greeting guests upon arrival
Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly
Staying updated on current menu choices, allergens, daily specials and menu variations
Ensure guests receive food and beverage in a timely manner
Ensure guests are enjoying their dining experience by table touch
Learn specialty cocktails, wine and spirits at various locations
Accurately prepare mixed drinks/beer/wine for guests while adhering to portion control standards put in place by management
Handle all payments accurately
Effectively handle guest complaints or problems with a positive attitude
Well versed and able to communicate history, products and services of Erin Hills
Ensure all radio communication is respectful, professional and courteous
Adhere to safety regulations as provided by Erin Hills and OSHA
Responsibly check guests' identification to ensure that they meet the minimum age requirements to consume alcoholic beverages
Respectfully refuse beverage service to guests whom appear overly intoxicated and inform management immediately
Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
Follow guidelines and policies set forth by Erin Hills Employee Handbook
