    Job DescriptionSr. Technical Designer _ Woman's Sports BrasOur client a major sportswear brand, is looking to add a Senior Technical Designer to their woman's design team, to spear head their Sports Bra category.As a key member of the Apparel team, the Senior Technical Designer is responsible for the respective area of business, with autonomy and may benefit from occasional guidance. Fully coordinate tasks with cross-functional team members to bring design intention to life from proto through production. Provide transparency and issue escalation to maintain organizational alignment to ensure product drives fit and sizing consistency and garment construction excellence. Manage multiple development projects at various stages through design & development.Responsibilities:
    • Responsible for accurately interpreting design's intent from development through production on Women's apparel and Sports Bras. Builds partnerships and works collaboratively across functions to meet shared objectives.
    • Create and maintain tech packs including garment construction, sketches, graded measurement charts, mold specifications, fit comments, and pattern corrections.
    • Communicate clear fit revisions to factories through pattern corrections and images.
    • Drive fit consistency based on category history, block patterns and standards specs.
    • Identify potential production, quality, costing issues and make appropriate recommendations while maintaining design and fit intent.
    • Schedule and lead fit sessions.
    • Grow and lead relationships with key business partners and cross functional teams to educate and advance Sports Bra fit and sizing.
    • Mentor and support Tech Design colleagues in pattern and construction knowledge.
    • Research competitors, trends, and new technologies in the industry.
    • Independently prioritize and manage workload based on calendar deadlines.
    REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS
    • Degree in Apparel/Fashion Design or related major.
    • 8 years of Technical Design related work experience in activewear, bras, and sports bras
    • Experience with evaluating biometric data a plus.
    • Expert in mold development, patternmaking, and bra grade rule creation.
    • Experience with highly technical performance sports bras fit and construction.
    • Understanding of development and manufacturing process.
    • Experience and/or strong desire to learn Gerber Pattern Design and 3D Clo Software.
    • Clear and effective written and verbal communication across various audiences.
    • Strong organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
    • Ability to self-manage, work independently, and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced and time sensitive environment.
    • Champions flexibility and adaptability; Shows ability to be persistent and flexible.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Suite and Adobe Illustrator.
    • Ability and willingness to travel globally twice a year.

    Must reside or relocate to Boston AreaSalary range $100,000 - $120,000
