We have an immediate need for a Patient Service Representative in our Gainesville Dermatology clinic If you are ready to make an impact every day and thrive in a fast-paced environment then a career at Forefront may be the perfect fit for you The Patient Service Representative is responsible for the patient check-in process updating computer patient personal information and insurance information handling a multi-line phone system medical records filing and maintenance and collection of co-pays and cash payments.
Responsibilities
- Performs opening and closing clinic duties
- Greets patients checks in for appointments verifies insurance scans documents into electronic health record maintains tidiness of waiting area reception counter throughout the day checks schedules throughout the day responds to designated tasks orders clinic office supplies sells tracks cosmetic products distributes mail prepares follow up appointments as needed.
