- Manage effectively a network of supply partners who are responsible for $90MM in product purchased for PJ Food Service Quality Control Centers.
- Perform market and logistical analysis to formulate and execute efficient purchasing strategies.
- Prepare for and participate in supplier meetings, followed by written recap/action item documentation and communication
- Analyze and evaluate suppliers bid and proposals, negotiate prices and commit to purchases
- Drive cost savings through continuous improvement activities
- Resolve any discrepancies with quantity, delivery, cost and quality
- Collect and organize commodity market data; identify and interpret applicable trends; analyze impacts on supply costs; and develop reports to communicate to SCM Team
- Assist in the development, execution, and maintenance of contracts and document contract information
