- Perform ultrasound examinations on pregnant patients to evaluate fetal anatomy, growth, and development.
- Obtain and record accurate patient histories, including relevant medical information and pregnancy details.
- Operate ultrasound equipment to acquire high-quality images of the fetus and maternal anatomy, ensuring optimal diagnostic quality.
- Perform Doppler ultrasound studies to assess fetal blood flow and placental function.
- Assist physicians and other healthcare providers in performing ultrasound-guided procedures, such as amniocentesis or fetal interventions.
- Communicate findings effectively to the healthcare team, including interpreting ultrasound images and providing preliminary reports as needed.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other specialists to review and interpret ultrasound findings, ensuring accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during ultrasound examinations, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, adhering to regulatory and departmental guidelines.
- Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and enhance the quality of ultrasound services.
- RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) certification with OB/GYN specialty required.
- Minimum of 2 yrs. of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, with expertise in MFM.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

- Strong knowledge of obstetric and fetal anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
- Proficiency in performing a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including fetal biometry, anatomy surveys, and Doppler studies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other relevant software applications.
