    **Education & Experience**

    Bachelors degree in urban planning, geography, or related field.

    No formal work experience required. Relevant internship or 1-2 years entry-level related work experience preferred.

    Proficient use and fundamental knowledge of ArcGIS.

    Proficient use and fundamental knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and Adobe Suite, required.

    AICP or AICP Candidate, preferred but not required

    Essential Responsibilities

    Project specific duties will include: data collection, community engagement, data analysis, report preparation, participation in client meetings, creation of meeting materials and minutes from client meetings, assisting other team members in project duties.

    Planning goals, visualization, creativity, working with the community to understand planning goals and visualization. Can develop and deliver planning processes including existing conditions analysis, developing goals and objectives, developing strategies and implementation plan.

    Perform field or community data collection as required.

    Other duties as assigned.

    Provide multimodal transportation planning services for pedestrian, bicycle, micromobility, transit, roadway, and emerging technology projects

    Contribute to corridor studies, multimodal transportation planning, traffic analysis, safe routes to school studies and other transportation planning projects.

    Collect and manage project-related data as needed, which may include field data and observation, research, interviews with government agencies and clients, map reviews, land use surveys, travel and safety data, and socioeconomic analysis.

    Prepare graphics and mapping using ArcGIS and Adobe Creative Suite.

    Prepare documents such as technical reports, studies, maps and figures, infographics.

    Assist in preparation for, and participate in, public information meetings and hearings.

    Perform other duties as needed

    Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours if needed.

    **Reporting Structure**

    This position will report to Transportation Planning Practice Manager

    This position will not have direct reports.

    **Travel**

    Travel on an as-needed basis, primarily to visit offices, project sites within AZ, TX, ID or CO.

    **Office Physical Requirements:**

    All positions in our office require interaction with people and technology while either standing or sitting. Work required frequent and prolonged computer use. Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures while in the office and visiting job sites. Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to; hard hat and safety vest).     **Job Type:**

    Full-time preferred, part-time available.

    **Salary:**

    Full time: $45,000 - $60,000 (Level 1) $55,000 $85,000 (Level 2) per year, Part-Time salary will be dependent on availability and experience.
