    We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. As a bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining precise financial records, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring prompt reporting. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in QuickBooks Online and preferably in Santa Cruz software, combined with a solid grasp of accounting principles and standards.

    Responsibilities:

    • Handle all aspects of accounts payable and receivable, such as processing invoices, making payments, and reconciling accounts.
    • Maintain accurate and current financial records in QuickBooks Online.
    • Familiarity with Santa Cruz software is advantageous.
    • Generate monthly financial statements, encompassing balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Execute monthly closing procedures to ensure punctual and accurate financial reporting.
    • Reconcile bank and credit card statements regularly.
    • Support budgeting and forecasting processes as required.
    • Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting procedures and boost efficiency.
    • Address inquiries from management, vendors, and clients regarding financial concerns.
    • Stay updated on pertinent accounting regulations and best practices.

    Requirements:

    • Demonstrated experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar capacity, with a sound grasp of accounting principles and practices.
    • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is mandatory; familiarity with Santa Cruz software is desirable.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
    • Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Capability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal proficiencies.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
    • Prior experience in the transportation sector (preferred but not mandatory).
