General Summary

Provides endocrinology professional services to patients and serves as an instructor in the Department of Medicine.

Duties and Responsibilities

WellSpan Endocrinology is a comprehensive practice serving Franklin County, Pennsylvania and surrounding areas. This well-established group is highly respected and has a strong referral base withinsouth-central Pennsylvania and northern Maryland. Our strategy has been team-based and strongly focused on safety, value, innovation and integration within our health system.


Job Description/Summary:

• Position designed for lifestyle balance with excellent hours and reasonable call
• Enjoy the convenience of in-office biopsies
• Join a collaborative team of 2 Endocrinologists, 4 Nurse Practitioners trained in diabetes, and 3 Registered Dieticians
• Applicants should be board certified or board eligible in Endocrinology

Qualifications


Minimum Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required

Licenses:

• Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

• Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine (sub-specialty - Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism). Upon Hire Required and
• Completion of an Internal Medicine residency. Upon Hire Required and
• Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of York Hospital. Upon Hire Required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Teaching skills.
