CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD Training Specialist/Lead Planner Fort Leavenworth, KS Summary: Plans, coordinates, and executes simulation-supported unit collective training at echelons ranging from Battalion to CorpsAssists unit leadership in planning collective training that will meet their training objectives; identifies any gaps (resource, training, equipment, etc.) and works with the management team to ensure they are filled prior to execution of training
Functions as the highest-level individual contributor in at least one Warfighting Function (WfF)
Utilizes expertise and experience in staff training best practices, industry requirements and information technology disciplines to develop technical and training solutions in support of Army mission command training
Keeps abreast of doctrinal, operational and tactical training methodology as well as technological developments and trends
Requires approximately two years additional experience over the Training and Development Specialist
Gathers observations based on unit actions during the training event and provides input to unit After Action Reviews (AARs)
