    Description:

    Perform patient intake to include medical history with accurate documentation in the electronic health record.

    Patient triage to include vital signs (e.g., blood pressure, pulse, respirations, temperature, height and weight).

    Perform phlebotomy and ancillary clinical kit testing and specimen collection.

    Maintain temperature logs, QA processes, OSHA policies.

    Ensure accurate performance of EKGs.

    Assisting physician with gynecologic, surgical and wound procedures/exams.

    Completing pharmaceutical prior authorizations.

    Phone triage to include communication with pharmacies for patient medication refills.

    Performing Medicare Annual Wellness Visits.

    Exam room set up/ cleaning/stocking

    Electronic input of patient lab/radiology orders.

    Other duties as assigned.

    Skills:

    Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, Triage, Emr, Electronic health record

    Shift: 7:45-5p **Usually run until 5PM** 30 min lunch

    Patient Volume: 70-85 pat/day across 3 providers

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    Experience with Nextgen EMR is a huge plus
